Five Sonoma Wedding Venues with Breathtaking Views

Are you looking for a Wine Country wedding venue that showcases the region’s unique beauty? As a Northern California wedding planner, I can confidently say that there’s no better complement to event décor than a stunning view. Whether you want to savor a glass of Chardonnay on a hilltop or dine under a lush grape arbor, these Sonoma wedding venues' one-of-a-kind features are sure to wow you and your guests. Read on to discover why each of them has made it onto my favorites list.

Sonoma Wedding Venues with Views

Kunde Family Winery

This winery perches on a hilltop overlooking Kenwood and the Mayacamas Mountains. The ownership structure has recently changed, but the Kunde family still maintains ties to the land and involvement in the growing process—as they have for five generations!

The property boasts several distinct wedding venues, but our favorite is Boot Hill. With panoramic vineyard views and secluded oak groves, it provides a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable event. All rentals must be transported on- and off-site from the venue. However, the extra effort is well worth it to experience the spectacular scenery.

Aesthete Winery & Farm

This Healdsburg wedding venue has a serene, farm-to-table feel. The property’s charms include a creekside lounge area, fruit trees, flower gardens, and goats, plus stunning vineyard views. Events take place outdoors, with some tables and chairs provided. The manager and staff are renowned for their excellent hospitality, offering flexible delivery of rental items and providing assistance with setup. We’ll work on two weddings at Aesthete in 2026, and can’t wait!

Viansa Winery

At Viansa, it feels like you’ve stepped from Sonoma into the Italian countryside! The olive trees, ornate water fountains, and Tuscan-style architecture bring Old World charm, while the sweeping mountain views remind you that you’re still in Northern California. The brick terrace is one of our favorite spaces at this venue, featuring a mix of mosaic cafe tables and long farmhouse tables. Along the back of the pavilion, shade coverings and fire pits create a cozy spot to lounge, savor your wine, and capture some romantic portraits.

Trentadue Winery

Trentadue also channels the Mediterranean in its design. It’s one level, allowing all guests to access the entire space. This venue’s biggest draw is the Grape Arbor, an open-air dining area covered in grape vines and hung with string lights. In summer and fall, you can reach up and pluck grapes right off the vine as you dine! The Sala de Leon Pavilion, an airy indoor space suitable for year-round use, is another standout feature of this venue.

Harper’s Rest Winery

This boutique outdoor wedding venue in the Russian River Valley is beautiful for Wine Country events. The vineyards stretch to the horizon, becoming rolling hills, and mature oak trees dot the landscape. This is an outdoor-only venue that can be tented if necessary. Among its most unique features is the Japanese garden! Guests walk through this space—featuring traditional design elements and plants—on their way from the winery entrance to the back lawn, setting the tone for a sophisticated celebration.

From rolling hills to redwood forests, Wine Country has exceptional natural beauty. By choosing one of these Sonoma wedding venues, you’ll ensure that your celebration exhibits the best of this renowned destination. Our team would love to assist you with planning it!
